But today, it’s not about me. It’s about Ehkaaya. The brand I’ve woven together with all the realizations, moments, and little pieces of myself I’ve collected along the way. So, I Thought I’d take you on a ride through the journey that became Ehkaaya.

Funny thing about Ehkaaya is that it started as one of those random 2 a.m. ideas you think that will fade by morning — but it didn’t. The more I thought about it, the more I realized it was never random. It’s been a part of me all along. Growing up, I watched the world hand out power like it came with a set of rules — and somehow, individuality got lost in the margins. I used to believe that power had a shape, a look, a rulebook you had to follow. That, being noticed meant becoming someone else’s version of strong. But over time, I realized real strength doesn’t come from fitting in or imitating. It comes from being honest, from being raw from showing up as yourself, fully and unapologetically and that’s how Ehkaaya by Theja was born.

Ehkaaya is inspired by two words — ‘Ehsaas’ and ‘Kaaya’ meaning- understanding body, but for me, it goes beyond that — it’s about understanding and embracing your own individuality. The brand’s intention is to merge culture with modernity, strength with softness, creating pieces that each tell their own story while celebrating the person you truly are.
